Good piece on women's sport and its inexorable rise, Andy.

See Guardian article by Suzanne Wrack (11/04/23) on failure of Lionesses' success to impact on inner city teen girls. Key point-

' The adolescent brain is malleable around ages 13-14. They are hardwired for peer approval. So if the thing that means you're cool in school is men's football and everything associated with it, and women's football makes you uncool, if you love women's football, its really hard to embrace that.'
