F1 to launch female-only series for younger drivers 🏎
Formula 1 is planning to introduce its own female-only championship as early as 2023. Despite speculation, sources have told Autosport that it will not be a direct rival to the W Series. Instead it will be pitched to younger drivers of around 16 and older, and it will be seen a direct feeder series to F3 and subsequently to F2.
Adidas terminates deal with Kanye West 👟
On October 25th, Adidas announced that it was officially ending its relationship with Ye. The termination was effective immediately, and Adidas said the result would be a short-term negative impact of up to $246 million in 2022.
NZ Rugby score own-goal with scheduling clash 🏉
New Zealand Rugby has admitted it forgot about the women’s World Cup after being forced to explain a “disgraceful” scheduling clash between its All Blacks and Black Ferns teams this weekend. It means that the All Blacks' fixture against Japan kicks off 40 minutes before Black Ferns' World Cup quarter-final against Wales on Saturday.

Netflix tease an explosive tell-all FIFA documentary ahead of World Cup 🏆
It seems every rightsholder wants to be the star of their very own Netflix docu-series. Well, that probably doesn’t go for FIFA. An explosive expose focused on their controversial history titled FIFA Uncovered is set to hit the digital streaming platform in November 2022 ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Audi set to enter F1 in 2026 🏎
Audi has confirmed it will enter F1 by taking a stake in the Sauber team that will become the car manufacturer’s works entry in 2026. Sauber currently races under the Alfa Romeo brand using Ferrari engines. It will continue to use their power units when it is expected to revert to the Sauber name for 2024 and 2025 before becoming the Audi factory team and using Audi engines on its entry into the sport.
